When the sail is short, it is much easier to add a little hardware or straps than to compensate for a sail that is too large. This illustration shows a triangular sail stacked under a square sail. But I fastened the ends to the patio roof with screw hooks and used tarp straps. (hose with s-hook) for the 3rd corner, works well. There is a tree in the other corner which is very durable so far. Block out the harsh sun in my vegetable garden. It’s very pretty and it’s perfect for my garden decoration. Let’s see what happens in winter. I might give up but then again I live in Austin and it’s summer all year round. Unless we have snowy Pocholls.
