Far less filter material

I’ve now gone through one of those packs. Collect dirty filters and clean them immediately. Most notably, they have much less creases than the original filters. I counted 108 of the original filters and 68 of these filters. You can expect it to get messy pretty quickly. Also, in terms of material, the original filter is a nice bright white again, but I noticed that these come in various shades of grey. Soak all in the same detergent and wash clean. rinsing. Are they worth the price I pay? Sort. I didn’t experience any of the installation issues that some people had, but be aware that the material on the end of the filter is stronger than the original and has more wiggle room. Hope to make better seals. I probably won’t stop buying these again.

Not Enough Water Flow

These spa filters have way too much plastic webbing inside. They do not allow sufficient water flow. The plastic webbing should be more open and have more holes. I’ve found that other filters work better.

Ok but not as good as the original paper filters

After running out of the original paper filters that came with Lay-Z, I bought a lot of them. The original paper filter had to be changed about every 2 weeks and cleaned every 2-3 days because it clogged every day I used it in the inflatable hot tub. These replaceable filters are the same size and fit perfectly in filter holders. It filters large particles but doesn’t clog at all. After using one filter for 2 weeks, the water is still clean. So there are only two options. I am cleaner b. I’m leaning towards option b since they are less dense than the original paper filters and there are no other changes to my routine. It still catches dirt in the water, which is fine overall, but I recommend a paper filter for clean water.

If you compare these filters to the original filters that come with the SPA, you’ll see that they are not identical in a side-by-side comparison. This filter has filter media that is much less wrinkled and thick. It’s cheap for a reason. If for some reason I can’t get the original, I can still get it, but I’ll fall back to the original filter.

have to check the filter but the first filter I took out today had a weird substance on the filter cone. Yes, it works, but it’s not that special for the Bucks division. I tried the Intex brand (I have a pur spa and love it btw) I also tried the off brand, but both will filter your spa.
