Blurry and double vision underwater

I really wanted to give these goggles a 5 star from the minute I opened the box. The hard case they come in is awesome and they looked and felt great. In the pool they were very comfortable and totally leakproof and above the surface they were crystal clear.

But underwater everything is blurry. Felt like I was wearing someone else’s prescription glasses. I toughed it out for 400 meters (after all, there’s not much to see at the bottom of the pool) but it got more and more disconcerting and I started getting dizzy. Will return these and try another brand. 1 star.

I revised this to 3-stars on Feb 15 only because I felt guilty about being so critical. They did fit great, were very comfortable and dry, and they looked great. Only problem was blurry vision underwater.

Strap is very short ... nosepiece has sharp attachment points that dig in to flesh

I haven’t used these yet, but given my past experience (training for triathlons) I feel like these goggles will have moderately good suction.

Now to the problem(s): The strap is very short. Granted, I have a large head circumference (maybe 90th percentile in men’s head size given my height). But I’ve never before had this problem with swim goggles (and I’ve owned at least 10 pair in my life). I cannot extend or adjust these straps to be long enough to fit my head appropriately.

This causes another problem: They are snug on my face even fully extended and the nose-piece has sharp edges that dig into my nose. this becomes uncomfortable and distracting even after 10 seconds -- I can just imagine how it will feel after dozens of laps in the pool.

I suspect that if they simply extended the straps another 1/2" on each side, both problems would go away.

I had used a couple of googles prior to these, and I had to wear them too tight to be comfortable in an effort to minimize leakage. One of the straps snapped, so I thought this would be a chance to try something better. The case was one thing that appealed to me, and I swim indoors so I didn’t really want tinted either. I noticed that the lenses are definitely warped, so the view even just standing outside of the water is distorted. That’s ok I guess, since my primary desire was to see where I am going under and in water. They were relatively comfortable, and relatively leak free. Didn’t have to wear them painfully tight. I’ve only used them once, and they seemed ok. I have a relatively big head also, for what it’s worth.

These are pretty comfortable however I find that my 10 dollar pair from the "evil superstore" is more forgiving when it come to placement. These require being in a very specific position or they begin to leak. It often takes 3 or 4 adjustments to get it right. Once I do get it right they are great.

These as you can see are much larger than most swim goggles BUT they seal great. I scuba dive a lot and the mash like fee to them works well for me. When I lost my original pair I ordered another just like the first. #1 for me is keeping the chlorinated water out of my eyes. These are perfect for that. I wet them before putting them on so I have had no trouble with them fogging. Optically they do give a little funky view but after a time or 2 you get used to it.
