Office Chair Mat for Hard Floor

Scratches, dents and won’t stay flat. Despite rolling it back and forth for days, the edges kept bending off the floor and forming a stumbling block. I’ve never seen this crap on floor protectors.

The mat served its purpose. All features described in the information. Even though I can’t say much about the durability or sturdiness after this brief period of use, I’m impressed. Incorrect size, as other buyers have described many times. Some people bother with this, some don’t, but when you’re selling a lot of stuff, of course there’s some stuff clumping together, and if you order it exactly to size and it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t look good. see photo.

Will buy a slightly larger mat next time, I often find that it doesn’t have a wheel on it and when I move this it sometimes folds the mat over instead of rolling onto it.

It does what it’s supposed to do, but if you’re worried about your teeth or your eyesight is more important to you than it seems at first glance, then I’d either stick something non-slip underneath or leave the product alone. I have parquet floors. The cushion is also very transparent. You will never see them in a dark room

The pads make a good impression and seem stable and sturdy. I can’t say enough about durability yet. Very sheer, not very noticeable on our light colored floors. But the size is wrong. I would give away 1 cm, but I find it really cheeky to be missing 6 cm

I must positively emphasize that the pads are well placed. It is rolled up tightly. If you roll it up in the opposite direction according to the instructions, it will be flat when unfolded. It makes a robust impression. I think it’s a negative that it looks creamy. The product description says it is milky white, but the photos do not reflect the real thing. It looks more transparent there. I’ll keep it anyway. I can’t comment on durability yet.

On the old PVC covering on the floor, very uneven. Now the office chair is rolling again, and it’s quiet too. good buy.

I stumbled upon this while looking for an office chair. Didn’t want a pure gaming chair or "standard" so found the perfect combination. It’s super comfortable and no problem for longer meetings at the office! Value for money - top notch!!!

The pads are a year old. The mat still looks very good and is very strong with no signs of wear. amazing.

Due to the creamy, almost opaque color, hides small damage to the vinyl covering very well . Sticks well to the ground and is also very sturdy.

Beautiful, creamy, but you can still see the wood grain on the floor, which is just amazing, and it also lays flat very quickly after unpacking, no raised edges or anything like that.

I use this floor protector to protect the low-pile rugs of my office workstations. After a while, the edges curled up after driving past them with an office chair. This is a real accident risk! Several times my slippers got caught on the edge. Verdict: Stay away from this product and spend a little more for a heavier, thicker floor protector.

It served its purpose. It stays on the parquet and doesn’t slide, at least not when the surface is loaded. I haven’t had any issues with normal desk chairs so far

The super table mat is white this time why we don’t know why last time we also ordered this size and it was clear we prefer clear but white would work too

The pads are great and hold up well. My only suggestion is that you buy a larger size than expected as my chairs often get stuck on the edges.

It functions under vinyl floors and chair casters. It didn’t cover it because the tables and chairs were on it. I’m more of a practitioner. It served its purpose.

Very nice high quality table mat! Provides full protection for parquet floors. I can only recommend it.

Protective pads are easy to unroll and lay down. After only a short time, the pads adapt accordingly and the protection takes effect.

Pair very well no bad smell, no wear and tear. Can be wiped and cleaned. Vacuum robots also drive over it.

The first pad was not very good. However, customer service has been actively trying to resolve the issue. There are replacement pads. Looks good.

As described, but signs of wear (streaks) appear soon. I think it’s normal because office chairs like this leave marks.

Floor protectors have no ridges on the sides so they won’t scratch floors. After 5 days it was also completely flat on the floor. That’s all there is to it. As far as optical quality goes, it’s very milky and has black inclusions in places. see photo.

So far so good, you just have to make sure the base plate is attached to the floor, my son loves to slide it around the room

The top layer of protective pad, which is much thicker in strength, can bear more loads and is not easy to bend over.

The cushions are very transparent and well placed to block out the rolling noise of the chair. Everything is perfect.

I’ve been looking for Bose protectors for hard floors and in the past I wasn’t too happy with some of them because they slipped and fell. This pad stays in place and prevents unnecessary stress/abrasion on the underlying laminate.

The price/performance ratio is good, the stability is good, and the price/performance ratio is also good, it is worth recommending!

Does roughly what it promises - I didn’t really notice the scratch resistance, but personally I don’t really care that much if the mat gets scratched - better than the floor

I am super satisfied. The pads fit well. It rolls out well and has no bad smell. GLS is working fine for me. The mat was 3 days ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, I can’t say how stable she is because today is her first day of lying. But it’s also thicker than my last mat, so I hope it’s ok. In any case, I am very satisfied. Happy again. A functional pad, but it’s not as transparent as I’d like it to be. Still, it worked in the teenage room, and the good parquet was in good condition, no scratches. Since it’s only been in use for 3 weeks, I can’t say enough about durability, but it feels like I believe in good durability. Great value for money.

I love this mat. It seems crazy to talk about a piece of plastic this way, but hey, I obviously don’t have much of a life. There are three reasons why this mat is so great: First: It shipped flat (I purchased the 36" X 48" size). So, no curling or marks where it was folded. Second, if you want a mat that is as clear as you can get for a hardwood floor, this is it. I looked at glass chair mats but those puppies are 7 times as expensive. This mat practically disappears into the floor (the selling point of the glass versions) at a lower price point and considerably less weight. Third, it doesn’t slip. Glass chair mats often slip, so no hazard with this one. If you want a mat for a hardwood floor that looks great, buy this one.

This is exactly what I was wanting. Though you can see it on my dark hardwood floors, it is not really noticeable. It is thick enough to set my heavy rocking chair on top of it without damaging the mat or my floor. My only complaint is that the mat was not delivered "flat" as indicated in the description. It came curved (semi-rolled) in a box. I laid it out in the sun for a few hours to mostly flatten. I can still see the bend but it’s okay. Otherwise, great product and I’m happy with it.

This mat is awesome. It is nearly invisible which is awesome for wood floors because you don’t lose the look of your nice flooring. In low lights you really can see it. I wouldn’t go any smaller than this size though.

Bought this size first to see if it was true to description. It was. It was shipped flat so no rolling or creases. Used at my kitchen island to prevent stools from scratching the hardwood floor. We love this mat because, except for a little sheen, you can barely tell that the mat is there so it does not detract from the overall decor of the room. I went back to buy another size. This mat came in a flat container, which was nice. My office chair rolls smoothly over it and when I do go off the mat its easy to get back on. The mat also stays in place, which is an added benefit. Overall, I’m pleased with this item and the cost was very reasonable.

Exactly what I needed! Arrived sandwhiched between two pieces of flat cardboard with tape around the edges to protect it. I love that the mat was NOT rolled up so it was ready to use as soon as it arrived. High quality material and barely even visible on my hardwood floor.

I had no trouble having the mat stay flat. When first pulled from the box, it retained waves but once put into use, it lies completely flat. Covers a large area of the floor as well.

We like that it blends into the wood floor and it is not noticeable. The chair easily rolls over it. It is a good size for our home office. I kind of wish it had the part that goes through the desk opening for the feet.

This mat was delivered over a week ago. It was placed on hardwood floor in front of a desk. I really need a second one to when I roll the office chair down from the desk area to a filing area. Due to some of the negative comments and photos I have held off ordering a second one to first see how this one holds up. I have rolled the chair across the mat everyday and it looks as good as the day I put it down. I’m ordering my second one today. What I like best about it, besides the fact it protects the floor, it is clear and almost disappears on the wood...looks great!

This mat replaces a 4x6’ carpet underneath a computer chair. Now I no longer have to stand up to move the chair and the edges no longer present a problem getting the chair back over the edges. Initially the mat would not stay flat on the edges, since it was rolled up for shipment. I tried a hot air gun but had little success. Next I used wood boards on the sides for several days with no success. Finally I used carpet tape on the edges and have no more problems. Glad I finally bought the mat and the price was less than I was expecting.

This is a very nice mat with one small flaw. I gave it 5 stars because it is just what I wanted in material, flexibility and design. There appears to be a small manufacture error where the edge got heated and rolled in about a 4" area. The flat box it came in appeared undamaged. This was also nice because it arrives flat so your are not struggling with it to unroll it! I did not feel this was important enough to return it. I would recomend this product.

Love this product! I was originally concerned about the mat not staying in place, but it doesn’t move at all when placed and the chair glides smoothly when needed. And a huge plus with the textured surface, which makes my chair stay in position when sitting down. It blends well with the wooden floor because of it’s transparency, which helps a lot when wanting it to be visibly discrete.

And if you hate rolled up chair mats like I do, this is definitely the chair mat to go with. It comes in a flat package so once you open the package, there’s no need in trying to re-bend or push it down to make it flat. This was a huge selling point for me.

We needed protection for our wood floors from an office chair at a corner desk in our kitchen/dining area. Because of the many other uses of the room, I wanted the mat to be as inconspicuous as possible. My husband walked through the area several times for a couple of days before he realized there was a mat under the char!

I needed a chairmat to go partially over our wood floor and partially over a throw rug, so I chose this one. I’ve been very happy so far - it has stayed in place perfectly over both services, and provides just the right coverage to go under my chair. It’s barely noticeable as well, which I appreciate, as my work desk is located in an area of our spare bedroom that is obvious when entering the room, so I really wanted something that wouldn’t look too "office-y" or stick out and look unattractive in any way. Although it’s clear, it’s very low-glare, so you really don’t notice it all unless you’re looking straight down at it.
So far very pleased!

I didn’t buy this mat for the traditional uses. I needed something to cover a portion of a craft shop area wood floor to protect against scratching and water damage from a wet sanding tool. The flat mat, with no cleats on the underside, works very well for this, and has kept the wood floor under it clean, unscratched and dry. And it’s clear, so you really don’t see it.

It’s a really nice floor mat I got to protect the new laminate we just laid down. i forget it’s there half the time, and you don’t have to worry about having to unroll and flatten when it comes to your house. It comes in flat so it’’s ready to use (my favorite part to be honest lol), I love it!

I bought the full size mat. Came all rolled up. After finally flattening it out and edges weighted down over 24 hours it has proven to be a superb mat for my office chair. Couldn’t be happier.

I actually use this product on a natural wood tabletop that I’m tired of getting scratches on. After looking at heavy duty hard covers actually intended for tables, they all seemed too flimsy to be able to withstand long term for my "catch all" kitchen table where you throw your purse on, grocery bags, child backpack, spills, keys, even kitty claws lol! A hair dryer worked wonders to flatten the mat, and I cut it down to the size I needed. Added tiny pieces of rubber to keep the mat from sliding around on my table and I found the solution to my problem!

****I know it’s not food grade/food safe and I don’t intend to place any kind of food directly on the surface on the mat just the same as I would never place food directly on the bare natural wood tabletop itself****

This came tightly spiraled in a long box. Not sure if it was because this arrived mid-winter, but it was comically impossible to unfurl; the Three Stooges could have made it a skit. Anyhow, I soaked it in a hot bathtub for a half hour, which made it more pliable and I was able to get it open. I left heavy objects on it overnight to flatten it and it was basically fine in the morning. One of the sides needed another overnight with weight on top. No issues since. I am using it on a hardwood floor and it works great. No issues with the chair creating lines or divots in the mat and no damage to the floor underneath.

It ok don’t like that it don’t stay in place I have it on a rug with the computer chair and it sliding around also it will roll up on you I put something heavy on it to keep it in place need little balls underneath to grap the rug but my office look excellent

We should have purchased this years ago as it would have save our wood floors. This actually provides a smoother ride for out chairs and is protecting the floor. It was easy to install, just unroll and after a few days it is completely flat. It does not stand out as it is clear and you see the hardwood through it, but it is visible enough to see and thus not trip on.

I installed this in my home office to protect my vinyl flooring from my office chair. It is a thick, sturdy piece of plastic that easily protects the floor. That said, it arrived in a box as a roll that had clearly been in that shape for awhile. It took my wife, me, and a heat gun to unfurl it and it was an hour long process that even after took about three weeks to fully settle in and lay flat. I strongly recommend it for the protection it provides, but definitely plan on having a second person and probably a heat option available to assist with the first unfurling.

It’s great. Works good on hardwood floors it’s sheer looks good blends in with the floors doesn’t look tacky like others. It’s really durable!

I weigh about 270lbs and my chair maybe 10 lbs. It doesn’t have any grooves from rolling around on it. I followed the directions on the package and in 24 hours it was ready to use. I wish I’d ordered sooner.

I left it in the sun on our back patio to outgas and flatten...24 hrs on a hot maryland day on stone...worked like a charm

I ordered this mat for under my new office chair in my home office. I have natural wood floors with large gaps between the boards and I worried my chair would get stuck and not roll properly.I read the directions upon opening and followed them, leaving it lay out for a couple days with heavy objects on the corners to make sure it laid flat, this worked really well. It’s heavy enough to protect my floor well but isn’t incredibly bulky or odd, it works nicely with my rolling desk chair.

It’s a simple product but it’s well made. It’s sturdy, smooth, really everything you’d want. I put my sandwiches under it at the office and turn a waste bin on its side and roll them over. They get smashed and the bin stays clean. I take it too the restroom and give it a rince and put it back under my chair before anyone gets back from lunch. Later I get to watch the floor manager freak out on Deborah (I don’t do it in my own cubicle) and after that I get to watch the cleaning lady freak out on her too. She hates it here. 10/10

Just what I needed for my home office to protect the floor. Also, it allows me to maneuver my chair with ease without rolling uncontrollably. The product arrived in a rolled formation in the box and therefore I needed to anchor or weigh down the smaller edge until it would lay flat.

I did not have any problems getting the mat to lie flat. It was initially uncooperative after a few hours outside (January, Maine, who wouldn’t be) but after warming up in the house (66 degrees) it unrolled fine and lies flat, no hair dryer required. Nice product, stays where it’s put, and perfectly transparent so it’s very unobtrusive.

Good quality for the price! I bought two. The one for hard floor is softer. The one for carpet is harder and thicker. Both work great.

I see a lot of people complaining about trying to unroll the mat I placed mine in the bathtub and filled it with hot water and let it sit for 20 minutes. Put it on the bed and wiped it down and then on to the hardwood floor. Worked perfectly

Was better than expected. Easily rolled out flat when taken out of the packaging. Mat is in a high traffic area of the house, except for the mat being shinier than my hardwood floors, you wouldn’t know it was there.

I use it Bellow a single sofa that i move a few inches to watch movies on my computer, its takes a few hours to adjust to the floor but once it does you’ll even forget it’s there

I didn’t have any issue getting this to lay flat. It was tightly packed but I just left it inside on the floor. The ends were a little curled when I first put it out but it flattened out on it’s own.

Came quickly, takes a bit of work to roll out and you have to place it under something heavy for awhile to flatten it out but works great!

I bought this large mat to solve 2 issues I had with my desk chair and my textured rug. The chair wheels used to snag on the edge of the rug. Problem solved! Also, the wheels now roll better on the textured rug. When delivered, the mat is rolled up. It did lay flatter on its on after a few days.

Although it is not completely clear, it is relatively unobtrusive. It seems sturdy and will protect my floors. The only drawback is that if your shoes are not clean the dirt will show on the mat. However, this might be the case with all clear, plastic floor mats.

I suggest getting the 36x48 mats for hardwood floor. The 36x48 gives you plenty of room for your office chair to move around on. They are easy to clean and not a trip hazard.

There is nothing to dislike about this chair mat. The laminate flooring in the dining room of our rental was starting to show significant wear due to a rolling chair being used at that location. The mat has proven effective at preventing the wear from progressing.

I needed a mat that would serve when my chair rolled from the rug onto the hardwood floor. I was asking a lot from a mat. This one serves very well. I do have to adjust it from time to time but now the edges of my rug are not being damaged by my chair.

I needed a second mat for an office and found this online. Perfect size and was shipped flat making it easy to place after receipt. Only thing to state is make sure you put the correct side down to limit movement. Once you have the correct side down, it really stays nicely in place and has a smooth top. Mat was used on linoleum under a chair in the kitchen. It was flat when received, and I didn’t have to flatten it out. Seems to be serving the purpose.

Bought this pad to protect my floors from the rollers of my desk chair. The mat is hardly noticeable and protects my floors as advertised. Other purchasers complained that this mat slipped out of position, and mine did that a little. However I found that it slipped only when my chair wheels hung up and didn’t spin correctly. Otherwise it works just fine. I’d buy another one if needed.

Paperwork with product does not indicate which side goes down (smooth side or the textured side) We use the textured side down on our hardwood floor. According to research I did on this product online indicates either side down works, depending on user needs. I loved that this item shipped flat so I was able to pop it right out of the box and put it to use. It was completely flat to the floor with no bent ends. It’s got great coverage so I could rest my entire desk on it and not ruin my wood floors. My chair slides with ease across it and its not too thick. I do wish it was a little wider as 1 of the wheels for my chair stick out on the floor when I’m sitting in it but I will probably just purchase a 2nd for added coverage.

I purchased this mat to replace an inferior mat that would wrinkle and move. This mat does not slip, the textured surface keeps it from moving and does not wrinkle. I am very pleased with this mat.

If you are concerned about a mat that does not have down time of unrolling and fitting to your floor, which is flat immediately... this one is great! I did not want to give effort in waiting for a mat to unroll and pleased with flat shipping of item. The only regret that I have, is the size chosen, because the legs of my desk are curved and is L-shape, therefore I needed longer. Not at any fault of product, but I recommend you consider your desk shape! I am keeping, just need to be careful rolling chair kegs to one side.

It’s not as thick as my old mat. I use this for a dog food "place mat" and it cleans up easily. The upside of it being thinner is that you don’t stub your toe on it. It does not curl up at all and looks nice with rounded corners. Mine came is a box that fit the mat w/o folding or rolling it. It laid down right away.

It came flat, which was a selling point. Been using if for over a month and it’s holding up well. Very satisfied.

I have a Golden Retriever with separation anxiety. I have a baby gate in the hall so he doesn’t have to be crated (German Shepherd Dog is crated, doesn’t mind it). He will dig at the floor behind the baby gate when left. I had a very thick rubber welcome mat on that side of the baby gate, but couldn’t find a way to keep him from moving it. This mat is a game changer. I put the end of the mat under the baby gate, basically locking it in place, and it’s working. He can claw at this all he wants and it won’t make ruts in the wood flooring. So far it’s working, love it.

I didn’t want to purchase one that arrived rolled up, this one came flat and installed right away, protects my hardwood floor.

As advertised, so far so good. I have hardwood floors and antique oriental rugs inherited from my mother and grandmother. The chair at my computer desk would roll back and hit the edge of one of the largest, nicest of these rugs and after a year I started to notice wear on the woolen edge. I bought this mat to cover both the floor under the desk and to lay just over the edge of the rug. It is just flexible enough to bend slight over the rug and not be brittle or break. So far, so good! It is a nice clear color and it is hard to see unless you are looking for it. I have not tripped over it once in the month I have owned it.

The mat is so clear and flat that you sometimes forget it is even there. Really like the fact that it shipped flat so I didn’t have to flatten it myself. Covers the entire area where I have my computer chair so this was perfect for me.

Good mat so far. It came flat and hasn’t curled up. My chair glides across it easily and there is no damage to my flooring. What more can you ask for?

We use the mat under an office chair, the chair rolls easily and the mat is inconspicuous.

I bought these because they were larger than what I was using in an attempt to protect my newly refinished pine floors. I was pleasantly surprised that they are thicker and sturdier than what I had (a different brand previously purchased in an office-supply store) and what I expected. They arrived rolled up, but they unrolled very easily, and rolling them in the opposite direction (and unrolling again) helped them lay flat very easily. My floors are well protected now!

This is a great mat to protect my vinyl flooring from my office chair’s wheels, which seem to accumulate hard and scratchy dust no matter how many times I wipe them off. The mat came rolled up in a box and easily flattened out just by putting large objects on all 4 corners of it. Took about 2 hrs to totally flatten out and works completely fine afterward.

Looks great, still can see our new hardwood floors and no worries of them being scratched by the chair wheels.

I was pleasantly surprised, it unrolled flat easily from a tight roll in the mailing box by rolling the opposite way then placing on the floor. Exactly what we needed for the desk chair on our bamboo floors. I also appreciate that it’s not super thick, but thick enough to protect the floor. It’s truly clear without bluish/yellowish tint.

I am very pleased with this mat. Never purchased one for hard floors before. I especially like that I can roll off the edges when reaching for something and roll back onto the mat with the chair wheels not getting caught on the edges.

I bought this for my home office where I have wood floors. I bought the largest size available and it gives ample coverage in which my rolling chair glides easily over the floor.

We use this under our daughters table and chair set and also under her highchair helps with easy cleanup.

We didnt order this for hardwood floors so we arent sure how it does on those. But for carpeted floors is perfect. It comes rolled up so you do have to flatten it out before actually using it or it wrinkle up. But great mat

Bought this and had no problems with it. Unrolled it and weighted down the edges and have been using it for over a month without any problems. Had a slight smell which dissipated quickly.

I bought 2 mats to use on travertine floors. The mats are protecting my floors. My advice is to take them from the box and put books on them to straiten them out. I left the mats under the books for five days. They are flat and doing the job.

I like this mat. I am actually using it over carpet. It is thinner than expected. It isn’t stiff plastic at all. You can roll it up if u need to. Works perfect to put under the bird cage.

Actually, I like this mat. It is not a very large mat but perfect for the space that I have. Some complained that it had a odor when it arrived. Yes, it does smell like new plastic, but in a room even though it is a small room it is not offensive. The new smell goes away soon. I like it because it protects the floor and allows the beauty of the floor to show through.

We’ve had bad luck with mats that are shipped rolled (e.g. in tubes). With that in mind it was important to find a product that shipped flat. This mat checked that box so we were off to a good start.

I purchased this mat to replace a carpet mat that kept wrinkling up every time I moved my chair, plus with two cats and a dog it was impossible to keep clean. So far it’s great! It came tightly rolled up but within a day it flattened out nicely. It does move a little throughout the day but it’s very simple to adjust.

I use this to protect the carpet at the back door when I let my dog in to clean his feet! It is perfect for that, easy to move and light, but sturdy! If you need the same thing, get it! No idea if it is good under a chair... Lol

What is not to like, they are exactly as advertised. UnRolled them on floor, turned them over put bags of dog food on end that was rolled tightest. One hour later they are flat clear and beautiful.

I unrolled it and put some heavy stuff on the edges to flatten over night. On the parts I didn’t weigh down, there’s a slight wave to it that I don’t know if it will lessen over time. But the edges aren’t curled and it works for me. And the wave isn’t really a bother, it just doesn’t look like glass 2 days out of the package. Mine is kind of wedged in a L-shaped desk. It’s not sliding around, but the desk is holding it in place. So I can’t comment on that. But all in all, I’m happy with it. Would buy again.

This is more flexible that I was expecting. Most mats seem to be very rigid. I was a little surprised by this. This is just an observation as I don’t currently believe this would impact performance.

This has protected my hardwood floor from damage. The casters on my office chair is made of hard plastic and was damaging the finish of my floor. This has stopped the damage.
To unroll it. I unrolled as flat as possible and left it outside in direct sun for a couple of hours. While it was still warm and pliable I brought it inside and layed it out on the floor and waited for it to cool. Good to go!

It was perfect. Laid flat no turnups no weights needed on ends. My tile floor was not good under the mat and my chair would not glide smoothly now no problem !!! Best money I ever spent.

It came rolled up tight, and I put it out on the floor with some heavy items over the two curled ends. and in a day or two, it was completely fine. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it is still doing great. It’s not as flat as a pancake, but it is more or less flat, which is what I’d expect from any floor mat being rolled over regularly by an office chair.

I just purchased a second one of these mats. I use them to protect my wood floors and make clean up easier under my cats’ food dishes and outside their litter box. They work great for my purpose. They arrived rolled tightly, as one would expect, but quickly flattened out with a little bit of help. I wish I had bought these years ago!

I put half of the clear mat under my area rug so my wheels don’t scratch the floorfrom what the area rug doesn’t cover. It’s very nice didn’t have much issue with having it lay flat.

Transparency allows the original flooring to show through. It’s difficult to even see where the mat starts and ends.

Came out looking frosted, but when you lay it out it looks much clearer. It unrolled easily and pretty much stayed flat with minimal effort. Very happy with this product.

We just purchased an older home in New England. It has beautiful hardwood floors that have just been refinished. At h first I had a very unattractive rug on the floor and a dark brown chair mat. When I switched to jute rugs I also switched to this clear chair mat. It made all the difference. Great buy.

This mat is just big enough for my office chair. I oriented it vertically so I have more space to move my chair closer/farther from my desk. Was a little rolled up on the sides but flattened within one day.

It was tightly rolled for shipping. However when I took it out of the box and placed it on the floor, it unrolled completely. I did not need a hair dryer or books... I put it in front of a litterbox to catch occasional misses. It’s working great for that purpose. I was concerned that sharp nails/claws might go through it, but it’s thick enough and sturdy enough that this is not going to be an issue. This is perfect for what I needed it for.

It works nicely for a task chair on my wooden deck. It laid flat very easily. However, It is thin, so I don’t know if it would be okay for "quality" wood floors. Shipping was extremely fast.

This is perfect for my marble floor. I live in the tropics so it rolled out flat right away. Maybe not good for a cold climate, but perfect here!

We should have purchased this years ago as it would have save our wood floors. This actually provides a smoother ride for out chairs and is protecting the floor. It was easy to install, just unroll and after a few days it is completely flat. It does not stand out as it is clear and you see the hardwood through it, but it is visible enough to see and thus not trip on.

Tapered edges prevent it from being a trip hazard. Protects floors very well.

This was good and economical one when I have compared it to others. It is not the sturdiest ones available when compared to the ones in stores but at the same time the quality of the mat is not the lowest. It is decent and does it job.

It is thick enough to protect the hardwood floor. As I followed the directions to let it lay flat and not use it for 24 hours, it stays flat and doesn’t move. I had to give extra hours before it actually stayed flat.

got this because it was cheap and I didnt want to ruin rugs in a new house but was unwilling to spend $50-100 for a glass one. it will suffice, and I dont think anything will happen to the rug. I did put two folded towels under to distribute the weight a little more. a good scooch gets the wheels rolling and where you want. would recommend, dont shy away just because it says only for hardwood

I have back problems and they’re getting worse lately so I’ve been looking for clever ways to make my life easier. I put a rolling stool in the kitchen (BEST IDEA EVER) and it’s helped a lot but there are still things I have difficulty doing. I’m finding that I’m having a hard time keeping the kitchen floor clean, for example. It’s a small kitchen so I never bothered with a mop because it just seemed silly. I used to just get on my hands and knees and just scrub the floor but I can’t really do that now.

So I looked into kitchen mats. I looked at a million of them but none of them really seemed to make sense for my specific situation and even the ones that seemed the most like they would work seemed like they might make some problems with moving the rolling stool back and forth through the kitchen. So I hit on the idea to use one of these. Think about it: it’s waterproof, it’s stain-proof, it lays flat and keeps my floor safe from my stool and it’s literally made for having chairs and stools on wheels roll over them. So I put it where I do the most food prep and where I’m most likely to spill or drop things and now I can just pick the whole thing up and wash it off in the sink so I don’t have to get on the floor.

So far, this is one of the smartest ideas I’ve had. I’m going to give it some time and and see how it goes long term and if I’m still this happy with it I might get another one for extra protection for the area by the fridge.

I have laminate flooring so the "normal" floor mat wouldn’t work. This mat has no pokey things on the bottom so it worker perfectly for my computer chair.

The only minor complaint is that there’s nothing to keep it in place. With newly waxed hardwood floors, it slides around a bit, but hardly worth dinging them a star over.

The location of my desk chair is half hardwood floor and half an area rug. It was a big problem moving my chair in and out. The front half of the Office Chair Mat settled perfectly onto my hardwood floor and was flexible enough to accommodate the rise over my area rug and still lie flat. My problems, rolling my desk chair in and out, are gone! Better yet for me, the lip of this mat is narrow (18" wide), which allowed it to fit easily under the relatively narrow leg opening of my desk.

Shipping was fast. Came packaged nicely. Had to lay flat for a a day with weight on corners to help it flatten for use. Very happy with everything about this. Would purchase again!

The mat arrived rolled up. I rolled it out flat and used it immediately. It was perfect.It fits my needs perfectly.

My office chair was tearing up the tongue and groove flooring joints (they weren’t very well installed or perhaps it’s the age of the house) either way, this mat covers the spot where my chair normally rolls. It stays in place decently, is easy to clean, and does it’s job. Couldn’t find it at any local store. Wasted more time looking for it.

I noticed the laminate floor under my desk beginning to bubble up from the roller chair. After protecting the floor with this, in a couple weeks the bubble was going. I am not saying this thing is supposed to remove bubbles, what I am saying is that this protects my floor very well and has reversed the damage. Great product for floor protection, I also like that this is clear, so you can see my beautiful floors underneath

I like the size. I did not have the odor issue others have mentioned. I lay it out and put some heavy things on it, and the next day, it was no longer curling, so I’m quite satisfied.

This chair mat keeps my chair from marring the floor and lets it move smoothly instead of getting stuck in every groove.

I do a lot of work at my dining room table and I get up and down frequently. For fear of ruining my floor, I got this mat to put under my chair. The mat is strong and durable and will last for years to come. The mat does does not move around and is soft and sturdy on my feet. Well made for the price, highly recommend.
